I'm living in Zuerich at the moment, and have been watching the England world cup games in a stadium with a big screen TV, created in the square at Bellvueplatz on lake Zuerich. My sister and I watched the England vs Paraguay match there a week before, when she came to visit for the weekend. I decided to go and practice my photography and fought my way through the crowds taking pictures as I went, during the South Korea vs. Switzerland match. My goal was to get a good picture for my works bi-monthly photographic club competition, as well as practice my general skills. People were all very friendly and I must have been asked 50 times if I worked for the Sun or some British newspaper, and people were mostly thrilled to have their photo taken, but I tried hard not to let them notice me at all, it made for a better image.

All images were taken without a flash to try and keep the images natural looking, and mainly at 1600 ISO using my 50mm f1.8 EF prime lens.
